Activities: Camp includes a full day of equestrian activities. Activities are geared to the level of the student - Beginner to Advanced.
Here is a partial list of activities – actual activities are chosen based on the ages and skill levels of the students:
- Daily riding with instruction designed for the level of the student
- Stable management, horse care, grooming, tacking, feeding
- Bandaging, show preparation, course design and other instruction for the more advanced students
- Learning about safety around horses and proper handling of the horses and ponies.
- Crafts and games.
- Our program is horses, horses, horses and ponies, ponies, ponies!
Children: Girls and boys, ages 7 to 15
No experience necessary.
Beginners will learn confidence, basic equitation and control of their horses.
Christmas Day Camp: December 29, 30 & 31, 2008, Monday-Wednesday, 9:00am - 3:30pm
Bring lunch and snacks!
Cost: $75 per day or
$220 for 3 days (GST included) -
