Activities: Camp includes a full day of equestrian activities. Activities are geared to the level of the student - Beginner to Intermediate. Here is a partial list of activities - actual activities are chosen based on the ages and skill levels of the students:
- Daily riding with instruction designed for the level of the student.
- Stable management, horse care, grooming, tacking, feeding.
- Bandaging, show preparation, course design and other instruction for the more advanced students.
- Horse movies at the house - educational and fun.
- Learning about safety around horses and proper handling of the horses and ponies.
- Crafts and games.
- Our program is horses, horses, horses and ponies, ponies, ponies!
Children ages: Girls and boys, ages 7 to 13. Session is limited to 10 campers.
No experience necessary.
Beginners will learn confidence, basic equitation and control of their horses.
March Day Camp: March, 2011, Monday - Friday. Half days and single days may be available.
Bring lunch and snacks!
Cost: $335 per week plus $43.55 HST. (Total $378.55)
